 Letter to Parents:

We would like to introduce you to the Oxford High School Booster Club. We encourage, support and promote good citizenship amongst students and parents. We sponsor events and awareness programs to benefit both the students and the community, and do fund-raisers to provide assistance to school needs and functions for students.  The OHSBC is similar to the PTO you have been working with during your child’s K-8 school experience.

The Booster Club supports the entire Oxford High School Community; sports teams, performing arts program, and various other clubs and academic and social programs.  We also plan special events like Festival of Trees, Take a Stand Day, staff appreciation, Senior Lock-In and other Senior week activities. The Booster Club has funded school improvement projects, equipment, college scholarships, guest speakers, social awareness initiatives, and much more.

The Booster Club meets the first Wednesday or Tuesday  of each month during the school year, at 7:00 pm in the Faculty Dining Room across from the cafeteria. Everyone is invited to attend any meeting, and school administration is normally represented. Please like us on Facebook for upcoming events and information.

In order to continue the work of the OHS Booster Club in the future, we need parent volunteers.  Any time you can donate would be greatly appreciated.  Whether it be as a board member, committee chair, or offering a few hours to help with a specific project/event, your help is invaluable. There is no conflict if you are already involved with another school organization – you can still be active in the Booster Club.

If you are willing to contribute any of your time and energy into helping us continue the important work of the OHS Booster Club, please contact any of the board members directly via email.
