Lady Wolverines on the Volleyball Court Keeping Rolling Along

The Lady Wolverines won their match in 4 games against Ansonia Tuesday.

After winning the first two games the Wolverines played a nail biter third game losing 28-26. The ladies came back in the 4th winning 25-20.  Game scores 25-20;25-23;28-26;25-20. Playing well for the Varsity team: Kim Mrozinski with 16 kills and 7 digs; Danielle Rossi with 15 serves and 8 digs and Aniela Olbrys with 24 digs.

 

Lady Wolverines Fall Short

The JV and Junior Varsity Teams were both in action yesterday. Both teams came up a little short.

In the varsity game, the lady wolverines lost to Seymour 3-2 on Tuesday. After winning the first two games the wolverines were unable to clinch the third to secure a win. Carly Alton and Danielle Rossi played defensively well. Wednesday’s match is against Torrington at home varsity starting at 5.

Ladies Start the Season Strong on the Volleyball Court

The Lady Wolverines started the season on a strong note on the volleyball court Friday night.

The junior varsity team started if off in a convincing fashion winning both games. The first set was 25-14 and the second set was a 25-20 win.

The Lady Wolverines left St Paul on the court in their 3-1 season opening win in Friday 9/8/17. The ladies had a slow start losing the 1st game 22-25 then won 3 straight 25-22, 25-13, 25-22. Kelly Shpak had 16 kills & 10 digs, Sophie Kritemeyer had 34 assists, Kim Mrozinski had 10 kills & 12 digs. Next game is Today away vs Seymour @ 5:30.
