Spirit Club OHS Girls' Cheerleading Team
 Oxford High School cheerleaders, who placed third at the Connecticut CIAC Class S State Championship in New Haven on March 8, qualified to compete in the New England Spirit Championship in Woburn, Mass., Saturday, March 15. The 16 girls, comprising 10 freshmen and six sophomores, completed against cheerleading teams from New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
